THE PEOPLE OF SILICON VALLEY NEED A VOICE
Our community is in dire need of help with homelessness rising, the cost of housing skyrocketing, violent crime devastating our neighborhoods, rising taxes with no results, and many other critically important quality of life issues worsening. The overwhelming majority of local residents feel they are not listened to when important decisions are made by local governments.

Through partnerships in the community and a team of experienced community leaders, the Silicon Valley Public Accountability Foundation (SVPAF) serves as a public watchdog and advocate for policies, leaders, and solutions which are much needed to improve all aspects of life in Silicon Valley. We will work tirelessly to ensure our governments listen to its residents and include us all in their decision making.

SVPAF is organizing local community groups, nonprofits, neighborhoods, businesses, organizations and more into a centralized knowledge and advocacy think-tank Foundation. The goal is to bring together these leaders and experts and empower them with the resources required to evoke positive change in Silicon Valley for generations to come.

We are a California Nonprofit Corporation with IRS 501(c)(4) Social Welfare Organization pending.

OUR MISSION
To promote the common good by serving as a trusted independent watchdog for the community. To ensure the rights of all residents are upheld. To improve the general welfare of the people through advocacy.
HOW WE MAKE A POSITIVE DIFFERENCE
SVPAF will serve as a watchdog for the public, closely examining the various departments of local government to the best of our ability, especially in the areas of: Public Safety, Transportation and Infrastructure, Education, Health, Taxes, Finance, & Budget, Environment, Energy, Housing and Community Development. These board positions will be filled by experts in their fields and will recruit teams as needed to advocate for positive change and improvement across multiple municipalities.

We will be active in elections as deemed necessary by a majority vote of the Executive Board. Voting Board members will be required to recuse themselves if there is a conflict of interest.

When a public department, official, proposal, ballot measure, ordinance, law or other similar action violate the rights of residents in our community we expect our members to raise the issue for discussion, develop a path forward and solution.

We will be active with the neighborhoods and businesses in our community to make Silicon Valley a better place for us all!
